Furthermore, due to it being optical switch, dust build-up would not affect the performance due to chatter. Talking of durability, these switches are rated to have a lifespan of 100 million clicks. This is significantly more than those of standard mechanical switches. The keyboard also comes with a hydrophobic conformal coating which makes it resistant to splash damage. Durability is further enhanced by braided cable, and metal body.

As for the keycaps, they are made of ABS, but you also get 9 additional PBT keycaps. The Gigabyte Aorus Optical K9 Gaming Keyboard also comes with swappable switches.
