60 Hz Monitors

60Hz Monitors - The Most Common Refresh Rate in Standard Monitors

If you have ever searched around for monitors, then chances you might have heard of the term refresh rate. And, if it’s very likely that you have seen that 60Hz monitors are the most common among these. Well, that’s because 60Hz monitors are one of the most common and also most affordable type of monitors.

But what does refresh rate mean? Well, it simply means the number of times a screen would refresh itself in a second. The higher it is, the more fluid and smooth the motion and animations are, but the more expensive it is.

As for 60Hz computer screens or monitors, these are primarily used in standard home/office PC configurations, or for entry-level gaming setups. Not to mention, these can be used for photo editing and video editing PC builds as well, as long as the color gamut and all are taken care of.

Should You Get a 60Hz Gaming Monitor?

When it comes to gaming, a 60Hz gaming monitor will be a good pick, as long as we are talking about entry-level gaming PC configurations. Since, such PC configurations won’t be able to deliver 100+ FPS consistently, there is no point in getting a high-refresh-rate monitor, and thus a 60Hz gaming monitor will be just fine in this case.

What is the 60 Hz Monitor Price in India?

As for the pricing, there are a lot of factors to consider. For example, a 60Hzz monitor with 24 inch screen size will cost you somewhere around 5,000 INR. But, if you are planning on getting a 60Hz monitor with 27 inch screen, then you will be spending a thousand bucks or so more.

Not to mention, the resolution also plays a big role in determining the price of a 60Hz monitor. Like a monitor with 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate will be a lot more expensive than a 1080p or FHD monitor with the same refresh rate.

But, generally, you can get some decent 60 Hertz refresh rate monitors for a starting price of around 5,000 INR to 6,000 INR.
