The MSI MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI is a feature-loaded Z490 motherboard. The MSI MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI comes equipped with features that gamers would appreciate. After all, that is what the MPG series of products are made for. Being a Z490 motherboard, it can support LGA 1200 socket processors such as 10th generation Intel Core / Pentium Celeron processors. Support for memory speeds upto 4800 MHz is also present, for those who want the absolute best performance. Talking of performance, the Z490 Gaming Edge Wi Fi comes with Core Boost technology which 8+4 pin CPU power connector. This allows extracting the best level of performance. Another thing ensuring enhanced power supply is 12+1+1 Duet Rail Power System. Just like other Z series motherboards, this too can overclock the compatible unlocked Intel processors.
The Z490 Gaming Edge WiFi comes with premium thermal solutions using an aluminum cover with an extended heatsink design, along with M.2 Shield Frozr. Superfast USB connectivity is also present due to ASmedia 3241 USB 3.2 Gen2x2, and you can get speeds upto 20 Gb/s with USB Type-C. A solid audio experience with 2.5G LAN, and Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX. Attractive, and gorgeous RGB lighting using MSI Mystic Light, which can also be sued for customizing lighting of other RGB/ARGB devices.
