DDR5 Performance

Designed to leverage the power of DDR5 RAM, the Z790 AORUS XTREME X uses a function-rich BIOS system to enhance throughput. DDR5 XMP Booster, Auto Booster, and XMP 3.0 User Profile allow you to quickly optimize the speed up to 8266 MHz retaining high bandwidth and low latency. Additionally, you get shielded and isolated memory routing, an 8-layer server-grade PCB, and back drilling technology, increasing your memory’s performance.

Enhanced Power Delivery

Digital twin VRM design with 24 VCORE, 1 VCCGT, and 2 VCCAUX phases drives electrical power to enhance the full potential of Intel’s multi-core CPU performance while maintaining stability.

Cooling System

Keep your components nice and cool even at full loads with various cooling enhancements. VRM Thermal Armor Fins-Array provides greater surface area for increased thermal performance. M.2 Thermal Guard XTREME prevents thermal throttling of your storage drive by increasing thermal dissipation. M.2 Thermal Guard Ext uses a thermal backplate to cover four of your M.2 storage devices. You also get vent holes on the back panel as well as Smart Fan6 software so you can customize your fan performance to your liking.

DIY-Friendly Design

Whether you are a newcomer or a seasoned builder, the Z790 AORUS XTREME X includes various improvements designed to simplify the building process. EZ-Latch helps secure and remove graphics cards while Multi-Key offers a configurable button that you can use to either boot directly to BIOS, enable safe mode, turn off all lighting effects, and more. Q-Flash Plus makes it easy to update your BIOS by only connecting your power supply.

5″ LCD Display

The VRM heat sink features an integrated 5″ LCD display which can display the CPU temperature, voltage, and clock speed along with the VRM temperature, Fan pump RPM, and memory clock speeds, keeping you in the know and aware of how your system is performing while you game. It also features a unique startup video and dynamic AORUS logo, adding a unique flavor to your system.
