Description
Features of DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision Digital Single Tower Air Cooler ( Black )
DeepCool’s flagship air cooler series gets a drastic addition in the form of the ASSASSIN IV VC VISION. The cooling capacity gets a nice bump with the inclusion of a vapor chamber at the base that pushes the TDP to 300W! The upgrades don’t stop there, as a high-end quad-segmented digital display has also been added to the already impressive ASSASSIN IV cooler. An aesthetical cooling powerhouse that has two sound profiles and a digital screen—air coolers can have it all.
Vapor chambers are essentially large, flattened heatpipes with high thermal conductance. In the ASSASSIN IV VC series, the heat is extracted through the coldplate, which starts the cooling process in the planar chamber. The heat gets equalized and sent up the heatpipes to get cooled further by the fin stacks. This solution raises the cooling capacity to an astounding 300W of TDP!
THE DIGITAL TOUCH
The standout addition of the ASSASSIN IV VC VISION is the enhanced quad-segmented display that monitors the temperature, usage, wattage, and frequency of your CPU. The digital panel is magnetized, so installation and adjustments are extremely simple. The display is controlled via DeepCool software and only requires an open USB 2.0 header
VISUAL TEMPERATURE ALERTS
A temperature warning alert system has been integrated with a color-coded visual thermometer indicator: under 80 °C, the indicator will stay green; between 80 °C and 90 °C, it will be a bright orange; when things get warm above 90 °C, it will go red, and you will start to see flashes.
STREAMLINED INSTALLATION
Installing larger air coolers can be difficult, which is a prime reason the hardware and installation were designed to be extremely user-friendly with the 172mm tall ASSASSIN IV VC VISION. Even the magnetic display panel and main fan sliding design were crafted with ease of installation in mind.

Frequently asked questions
1. How many watts can a DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision handle?
The Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision's TDP measures the cooling capacity of the Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision, which indicates how much heat it can dissipate from the CPU. This will guide you in selecting the appropriate cooler for your system. Ensure the TDP of the cooler is equal to or greater than your CPU's TDP. If the cooler is unable to deal with your CPU's heat, your system may overheat, become slower, or crash. You can check the TDP rating on Deepcool store pages or sites.
2. How big is DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision?
The dimensions of the Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision are necessary to ensure that it would be able to fit within your PC case and does not intrude on other components such as RAM sticks. The height, width, and depth of the cooler are provided under the product information on Deepcool's website or online stores. Double-check the measurements before purchasing so you can ensure that it will be a proper fit. Obtaining your PC case and space measurements prior to buying prevents issues when installing the cooler.
3. What is the TDP of DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision?
The Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision TDP refers to how much it can dissipate. This is a key thing when selecting a CPU cooler. If your CPU produces more heat than the cooler can dissipate, your system will be in danger of overheating. Be sure the cooler's TDP is equal to or higher than your CPU TDP. You will be able to obtain this data on Deepcool's website or from product details at online shops. Selecting an appropriate TDP keeps your computer stable.
4. What is the radiator size of the DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision?
The Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision is a air cooler and does not, therefore, use a radiator, unlike liquid coolers. What it uses instead is a heatsink with metallic fins to transfer heat from your CPU. Measuring the height, width, and depth of the heatsink is crucial knowledge before making your purchase. These details can be found on the website of Deepcool or retailers. Be certain to check how big the cooler is so it can fit within your case as well as in other components.
5. Is the DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision Single Tower or Dual Tower?
The Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision is a single tower cooler, which indicates it consists of one heatsink tower made of metal fins. Dual towers have two towers and tend to provide more cooling, but are larger. Single tower coolers such as the Assassin IV VC Vision are smaller and take up less space in most computer cases. They also have more space available for RAM and other components. This also provides them with ideal cooling but size issues.
6. What is the RPM of DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision fan?
The Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision fan rotates in units of RPM or revolutions per minute. It has a lowest and highest RPM range, which you can check on Deepcool's website or store websites. The speed of the fan depends on how hot the CPU is. The fan rotates faster when the CPU is more intensive. More RPM provides more cooling but at the cost of noise, and more RPM is less noise but provides less cooling. The fan automatically changes according to necessity.
7. Is DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision good enough?
The Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision is a good cooler that is designed for extreme performance usage. It is good for high-end CPUs and light overclocking. Its intelligence and generous heatsink area provide better cooling compared to a number of other single tower coolers. But if you are going to overclock hard or you possess a very hot processor, you might require a larger cooler such as a dual tower or liquid cooler. Always remember your CPU's requirement prior to selecting a cooler for your build.
8. Is DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision PWM or DC?
The Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision contains a PWM fan, i.e., Pulse Width Modulation. This fan is superior to DC fans as it varies the speed based on the CPU temperature. PWM fans provide an ideal balance between noise and cooling. The fan rotates slowly and is quiet when the CPU is not extremely hot. The fan rotates faster when the CPU heats up. Always refer to the cooler specifications to understand the type of fan before purchasing.
9. Does the DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision come with thermal paste?
Yes, the Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision typically comes with thermal paste pre-applied to the back of the cooler. This simplifies installation since you don't have to purchase paste to come with the cooler or apply it yourself. Thermal paste facilitates heat transfer from the CPU to the cooler. The pre-applied paste will be adequate for most people, but gamers or PC enthusiasts may prefer applying their own premium paste to cool better.
10. Is DEEPCOOL Assassin IV VC Vision quiet?
The Deepcool Assassin IV VC Vision is built to keep quiet. Both its fan and heatsink are designed to create as little noise as possible. But the silence it keeps is dependent on various factors, such as fan speed, ambient room temperature, and how much workload your CPU bears. When your CPU isn't under load, the fan isn't heard at all. But during gaming or extensive use, the fan also speeds up and produces more sound. Your choice of fan will also dictate whether the cooler sounds loud or soft.
