The Strix B860-A offers end-to-end PCIe 5.0 support, and the topmost x16 expansion slot is protected with a SafeSlot retention bracket to bear the weight of the latest graphics cards. One onboard M.2 slot is rated for blistering read and write speeds up to 16 GB/s, while the remainder can deliver still-impressive 8 GB/s transfers. And every M.2 slot is covered with substantial heatsinks to dispatch the heat of next-gen drives.

The Strix B860-A comes loaded with one USB4® (20Gbps) port for speedy data transfers up to 20Gbps.
SupremeFX
ROG SupremeFX is a unique blend of hardware and software technologies that provide superior audio. The Strix B860-A implementation features the ALC1220P codec for high-resolution playback up to 32-bit/192 kHz across all channels. Front-panel output is streamed through the integrated Savitech amplifier that can drive high-fidelity acoustics to a wide variety of speakers and headsets.
AUDIO LINE SHIELDING
A specially designed circuit separation reduces electromagnetic interference from the motherboard and attached devices for cleaner audio.
SAVITECH SV3H712 AMPLIFIER
The integrated Hi-Fi Savitech amplifier holds up its end of the signal path with imperceptible levels of distortion at -90dB THD+N and a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB for extremely clean output.
ALC1220P CODEC
Instead of the conventional high definition audio (HDA) interface, the ALC1220P codec uses a USB interface to deliver studio-level sound reaching up to 32-bit 192 kHz audio resolution.
