Features of ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB Single Tower Air Cooler ( White )
High-Class Finish with Aluminium Top Plate
With its push-pull configuration, the Freezer 36 A-RGB not only impresses with its efficient cooling performance, but also with its design. The soldered ends of the heatpipes are concealed by the screwed aluminium cover, allowing it to blend seamlessly into any PC setup and highlight both performance and appearance.
Future-Proof Compatibility
The ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB is multi-compatible with Intel and AMD sockets. Intel will release the new Arrow Lake processors on the LGA1851 socket in the future. ARCTIC customers don't need to worry that the new CPUs will also require new coolers. We guarantee full compatibility. All Freezer 36 can be used with the new LGA1851 socket from Intel without limitation.
Improved Fan Mounting
Thanks to the innovative mounting system, booth fans are effortlessly mounted in the heatsink using a click system. This mounting method eliminates the need for fan clips, making it easier to install the cooler or replace the fans, even if the cooler is already installed. The Freezer 36 A-RGB is therefore compatible with most 120 mm fans.
LGA1851 | LGA1700 Contact Frame
Intel's Independent Loading Mechanism (ILM) deforms the CPU by pressing it into the socket at two points with over 40 kg. This causes pressure in the PCB, the DIE and the solder layer between the DIE and IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader). With high thermal load, this can lead to long-term problems. The mounting frame from ARCTIC does not deform the CPU, reduces the mechanical load on the CPU massively, is quick and easy to install and allows the cooler to be screwed onto the CPU's backplate. As a result, mechanical stress on the mainboard and CPU is minimised, cooling performance remains consistent and installation is quick and uncomplicated.
High-Quality Bearing
Thanks to a combination of alloy and lubricant developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is minimised and greater efficiency is achieved. In addition to preventing lubricant loss, wear on the pin and sleeve is also minimised. In this way, less heat is generated, less bearing noise is produced and the service life of the fan is significantly extended.
Optimised Heatsink
The fins of the heatsink are open at the side and allow the pull fan to draw additional cool air out of the pc case through the heatsink. This side-flow design achieves even more efficient ventilation.
P-Fans - High Static Pressure and Impressive Colours
ARCTIC relies on the proven P-fans with A-RGB illumination. The P-series, which is known for its powerful performance, is particularly suitable for use on heat sinks and radiators. The 12 built-in LEDs can be controlled independently of each other and are compatible with the common A-RGB standards of leading motherboard manufacturers. The fans can therefore be fully illuminated directly via the A-RGB mainboard connection and synchronised with the lighting of other hardware.
Large Selection of Variants
The Freezer 36 is available in five different versions, all equipped with two fans in a push-pull configuration. In addition to the standard model with aluminium heatsink design, a version with a White heatsink is also available. For continuous operation, there is also the CO version, which is equipped with fans with double ball bearings. Alternatively, users can choose between a White and a white version with A-RGB fans.

Frequently asked questions
1. Does the ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB come with thermal paste?
The ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB includes thermal paste that is already applied to the cooler. The pre-applied thermal paste enables users to skip buying and applying thermal paste independently which simplifies setup procedures. The pre-applied thermal paste meets high standards in thermal conductivity between the CPU and the cooler. Users who want superior performance may still opt to use their preferred thermal paste despite the included thermal paste on the ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB. You need to remove the pre-applied paste before applying your own thermal paste when making this choice.
2. How many watts can a ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB handle?
The ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB operates effectively when managing CPUs that generate 200W TDP (Thermal Design Power). The TDP measurement identifies the highest CPU heat output which the cooling system has been designed to manage. The cooler functions technically for brief durations of elevated wattage yet operating CPUs with TDPs below 200W will deliver peak cooling performance and stop thermal throttling. The CPU remains safe when the TDP limit stays below its maximum level over longer periods but operating above this threshold leads to heat buildup and possible damage and decreased performance. Users should always verify their CPU's TDP rating before choosing a cooler because this check ensures both compatibility and effective thermal management. Ambient temperature conditions and overclocked settings need evaluation because these elements affect the amount of cooling you need.
3. Is ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB quiet?
An essential design goal of the ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB is to provide users with a cool operation that generates minimal noise. The cooling system combines an innovative fan with an optimized heatsink to achieve noise reduction. The fan operates at a silent level when working at lower RPM speeds thus making it a suitable choice for noise-sensitive environments. The fan produces only moderate sounds during all usage scenarios. By implementing PWM control the fan automatically adjusts its speed according to CPU temperature which stops it from working at highest speeds that produce loud noises.
4. Is the ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB Single Tower or Dual Tower?
As a single tower design the ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB provides cooling functionality. Single tower coolers feature small dimensions and provide appropriate cooling power for typical CPUs. Dual tower coolers contain two heatsink towers which provide optimal cooling for CPUs that produce substantial heat. The Freezer 36 ARGB operates as a single tower design but its engineering achieves maximum cooling performance within this framework to offer optimal size-to-performance balance. The cooler provides an optimal solution for users who need heat management without the need for an oversized cooling solution.
5. How big is ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB?
The dimensions of the ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB measure 159 mm in height and 126 mm in width with 104 mm in depth. The cooler has dimensions which make it suitable for most standard PC cases because of its compact form. The compatibility of your case depends on double-checking its clearance specifications. Among its dimensions the height of the ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB stands out because it needs sufficient space between itself and the side panel of the computer case. Pre-checking these dimensions will stop installation problems and guarantee proper fitment of the cooler inside your system.
6. What is the radiator size of the ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB?
The ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB operates without a radiator component. The product functions as an air cooling system with heatsink and fan technology instead of liquid cooling systems which rely on radiators. The Freezer 36 ARGB heatsink contains fins that extend the available heat dissipation surface. The design features of this cooler combine with its efficient fan system to efficiently remove CPU heat even without radiator elements. The installation process and maintenance requirements for Freezer 36 ARGB air coolers prove simpler than those of liquid coolers.

The TDP (Thermal Design Power) rating for ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB reaches 200W. The Freezer 36 ARGB was built to accommodate CPUs that produce a maximum of 200 watts heat output. The maximum operating heat of your CPU is measured through TDP and requires a cooler with matching or greater TDP rating to your CPU. A cooler with too low TDP rating can cause CPU overheating and lead to performance problems as well as hardware damage.
8. What is the rpm of ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB fan?
The ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB features a fan operation between 200 RPM and 1800 RPM (Rotations Per Minute). The broad speed control range enables this fan to run quietly at minimal settings while the CPU remains at low stress points yet it can quickly boost its speed for enhanced cooling when more power is needed. The PWM technology enables automatic fan speed control which adjusts the speed according to CPU temperature measurements. The active speed regulation system optimizes cooling performance against noise output to provide efficient heat dissipation without unnecessary noise generation.
9. Is ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB good enough?
Users who own mainstream CPUs along with moderate overclocking capabilities will find the ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB as a suitable cooler. The product strikes a proper compromise between its cooling performance and noise production and purchase cost. The Freezer 36 ARGB suits users who need a quiet operating cooler for regular use yet requires performance in demanding situations. The Freezer 36 ARGB delivers solid performance even for users who do not need high-end or extreme overclocking capabilities. The product gains popularity because installation remains simple and it works with multiple socket types.
10. Is ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB PWM or DC?
The ARCTIC Freezer 36 ARGB features PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) fans for its operation. PWM fans demonstrate better performance than DC fans because they enable precise fan speed control. The fan control mechanism through PWM dynamically adjusts its speed according to CPU temperature levels. The CPU temperature determines the fan speed which allows the device to rotate at high speed during CPU-intensive tasks and low speed during CPU inactivity for better cooling and quieter performance. The operation of DC fans depends on a set voltage which restricts their ability to adjust their speed level. The ability of PWM fans to adjust their speed according to need makes them the better option when it comes to CPU cooling.
