Processor: Now, the processor is arguably the most important component in a photo editing PC configuration. For that reason, we are going with the best processor that our budget permits and it’s the Intel Core i5 13400. This processor comes with 10 cores (6 P-Cores and 4 E-Cores), 16 threads, and a 4.6GHz boost clock.
Motherboard: For the motherboard, we just want something reliable that has all the required/necessary features. The MSI Pro H610M-E DDR5 motherboard takes care of both criteria. As for the features, this motherboard has DDR5 memory support with speeds up to 5200MHz, PCIe Gen4, USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, and more.
RAM: RAM/memory, just like the processor, is quite an important aspect when it comes to a photo editing PC configuration. For that reason, we are going with the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 16GB (16GB x 1) 5200MHz. For most mid-range photo editing 16GB RAM should be more than sufficient.
Graphics Card: In photo editing, the graphic card becomes crucial when it comes to GPU-based acceleration, and other graphic-intensive effects and such. So, having a decent graphic card does improve the overall photo editing experience. We are going with the Gigabyte GTX 1650 D6 Windforce OC 4GB graphic card specifically. GTX 1650 is a great entry-level graphic card right now, and for a mid-range photo editing PC build like this, it’s perfect.
CPU Cooler: We are going ahead with the stock CPU cooler, as we are kind of tight on budget. Also, the i5 13400 is quite efficient and does not heat up too much, so this will be just fine for the most part.
Storage: The Kingston NV1 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD is going to be our storage device for this build. Having a fast NVMe SSD like this will ensure that apps open up fast, the file imports happen quite quickly, and the overall editing experience gets much snappier.
SMPS: For such a mid-range photo editing PC, a good 550-watt PSU will be perfect. We are going with the Deepcool PK550D specifically due to its 80+ Bronze certification, and the brand’s reliability.
Case: The cabinet for our photo editing PC build below 60,000 INR is going to be the Gamdias Athena E1 Elite. This case comes with a uniquely designed front panel that has a mesh design which helps in better airflow. Apart from that, it also comes with two pre-installed fans, one of which is an ARGB one. Not to mention, the tempered glass side panel also makes it better in terms of aesthetics.
For a PC build based on photo editing, you need to ensure that a capable processor is being used along with plenty of RAM/memory. Not to mention, having a somewhat capable graphic card also goes a long way as that helps in GPU-based acceleration and other effects that can utilize the GPU.
The build that we discussed above is based on an Intel Core 13th Generation i5 processor, and we have paired it up with 16GB DDR5 RAM and a GTX 1650 graphic card. With these specifications, you are going to have a smooth experience when it comes to photo editing in popular applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, and more.
When it comes to getting a photo editing PC configuration below 60K INR right now, then this is certainly one of the best ones that you can get right now.
