Processor: The first PC is based on Intel’s latest 14th Generation Core i5 14400F processor. It features 10 cores (6 Performance-Cores and 4 Efficient-Cores), and 16 threads along with a 4.7GHz boost clock. Right now, when it comes to gaming this is one of the best mid-range processors.
Motherboard: The motherboard that we are using for this build is the MSI Pro B760M-P DDR5. This B-series motherboard is a perfect mid-range option to use in this PC build. This board features extended heatsinks, an optimized VRM layout, reinforced PCIe slots, USB 3.2 connectivity, and a lot of other interesting features.
RAM: This build comes with a total of 32GB of DDR5 memory with the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (16x2) 5200MHz RAM kit. DDR5 memory has higher frequencies and thus better performance, making it perfect for such a gaming PC.
Graphic Card: The RTX 4060 is a superb mid-range graphic card, it can run modern and demanding AAA games easily while providing smooth frame rates in 1080p even while using high settings. Not to mention, you can play many games in 1440p as well, as long as you turn down the graphic settings a notch or two.
Cooler: For cooling the CPU, this build comes with Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3. This cooler does not only offer amazing cooling but also looks stylish and has ARGB lighting.
Storage: Since it’s an upper-mid-range gaming PC, we recommend using the Crucial P3 1TB M.2 NVMe. This NVMe SSD has amazing speeds, and 1TB of storage will be more than enough for most mainstream gaming enthusiasts.
PSU: All the components that we are using in this gaming PC build are powerful yet very efficient. Thanks to that, even 550 watts will be sufficient, and when it comes to this segment, the Cooler Master MWE 550 V2 is one of the better options out there.
Case: The Gamdias Talos E3 Mesh comes with a beautiful design, superb airflow, and ARGB lighting thanks to the pre-installed fans. Overall, for the price, it’s an amazing cabinet.
Now, when it comes to the gaming performance of this PC configuration, it’s going to be buttery smooth and enjoyable as long as you are playing in 1080p or 1440p. Now, if you want to play the most graphic-intensive games at high graphic settings at 1440p, then that might not be the smoothest experience, so for 1440p, it’s recommended that you turn down the settings a few notches.

Processor: The AMD Ryzen 5 7600X is the processor for this build, and this is one of the best mid-range options in AMD’s Zen 4 lineup. Featuring 8 cores, 16 threads, and a 5.3GHz boost clock, this processor is a super popular pick for mid-range gaming PC builds like this.
Motherboard: The motherboard that we are using for this build is the MSI Pro B650M-P DDR5. As for features, it has a reinforced Gen4 PCIe slot, support for up to 256GB of DDR5 memory with speeds up to 7200MHz, fast connectivity, and a lot more.
RAM: This build comes with a total of 32GB of DDR5 memory with the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (16x2) 5200MHz RAM kit. DDR5 has higher frequencies and thus better performance, making it perfect for such a gaming PC.
Graphic Card: The RTX 4060 is an amazing mid-range graphic card as you might know. When it comes to gaming in 1080p, or even 1440p the RTX 4060 performs amazingly well.
Cooler: To keep the temperature of the CPU in check, we have the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3. This will cool your CPU, while also making the entire PC build look more attractive with its stylish ARGB lighting.
Storage: To ensure that we have ample storage that’s also fast, we will use the Crucial P3 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD.
PSU: As for the PSU, we are using the Cooler Master MWE 550 V2. This power supply unit comes with great reliability and has enough capability to manage a stable and smooth power flow to our gaming PC build.
Case: For the cabinet, there are multiple options out there, but we recommend the Gamdias Talos E3 Mesh ARGB. Pre-installed ARGB fans, support for 360mm radiators, good airflow, and stylish design are some of the main reasons for choosing this.
With this combination of the Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 4060, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, the gaming performance will be just as good as the first PC build. So, you can enjoy a buttery smooth gaming experience using the highest settings in 1080p.
And, that stays true for many games in 1440p as well. But, when it comes to certain graphic-intensive AAA games that have not been optimized nicely, then it will be a bit less smooth, but still quite smooth in general.
