This first PC is for those who prefer having an Intel processor-based gaming PC. For that reason, we made this build using one of the newest processors from Intel, the Core i7 14700KF, and we coupled it with 32GB of DDR5 memory, and the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 2X OC. With this combination, the gaming performance is going to be absolutely fabulous.
Here’s a brief overview of the individual components of this insane gaming PC build:
Processor: The Intel Core i7 14700KF is one of the newest and most powerful processors from Intel. This processor is part of the Raptor Lake series and features 20 cores (8 P-cores and 12 E-cores), 28 threads, and a boost clock of 5.6GHz with overclocking capability.
Motherboard: We are using the MSI Pro Z790-A WiFi DDR5 motherboard for this build, and this motherboard has everything that you would need and want from one. Talking of special features, it has an optimized and extended heatsink design, PCIe Gen 5 slot, DDR5 RAM support for up to 256GB with speeds up to 7200MHz, USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and a lot more.
RAM: For the best gaming experience, we are using the Corsair Vengeance 32GB (16x2) DDR5 5200MHz memory kit. The RAM capacity and frequency are more than enough for a stellar gaming experience.
Graphic Card: MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 2X OC 12GB, just like every other RTX 4070 out there is an insanely powerful graphic card for gaming. Forget 1080p or Full HD resolution, this card is capable of playing games in the highest graphic settings at 1440p, and can even run many of them at 4K resolutions without any issues.
Storage: For storage, we have the Crucial P3 1TB NVMe SSD. This type of SSD is not only faster than HDDs, but also faster than traditional SATA SSDs as well, making them perfect for gaming.
Cooler: The Intel Core i7 14700KF is a very powerful and power-hungry processor that heats quite a bit when under load. To keep it cool, we have the Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Atmos ARGB. This cooler does not only have exceptional cooling performance but looks even better owing to its unique design and ARGB lighting.
Power Supply Unit: We are using multiple high-end components here, so the power draw will be high. And, that’s why we have the Cooler Master MWE V2 750W power supply to ensure that this process is smoothly taken care of.
Cabinet: Gamdias Athena P1 has excellent airflow thanks to its perforated panels, and also has a super stylish and striking design thanks to the ARGB underglow, tempered glass panel, and four pre-installed ARGB fans.
The combination of the Intel Core i7 14700KF, along with 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and the RTX 4070 graphic card makes this PC a beast when it comes to gaming. The gaming performance with this PC is absolutely top-notch, be it CPU-intensive eSports titles, or graphic-intensive AAA games. With these specs, you will have an amazing experience with either type of game.
As for frame rates, in popular eSports titles, you will easily get hundreds of FPS even with the max settings, and when it comes to graphic-intensive AAA games, except a select few, you can easily expect 60+ FPS while playing in 4K. But, the best experience would be while playing those games in 1440p and highest graphic settings.

Now, this PC build is for those who prefer having an AMD processor-based gaming PC. So, for the processor, we have switched to the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and we also switched the motherboard to a compatible one. Apart from that, all the components are the same, so gaming performance is going to be just as good with this PC build. You can play all the latest and greatest AAA and eSports titles comfortably at the highest settings and resolutions while still getting smooth frame rates.
Here’s a brief overview of all the components in this second build of the article:
Processor: For the processor, it’s the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D here. It comes with 8 cores, 16 threads, and a 5.0GHz boost clock. Built on the Zen 4 architecture, this processor is great in terms of gaming and overall performance.
Motherboard: For the motherboard, we have the MSI Pro X670-P WiFi DDR5. Now, these MSI Pro series motherboards have all the high-end features without being too expensive, and hence, a perfect pick. Not to mention, it also has wireless connectivity, DDR5 RAM support, and can overclock compatible processors.
RAM: For RAM, we have 32GB of DDR5 memory at a frequency of 5200MHz with the Corsair Vengeance RAM kit. The RAM size and speed are both perfect for a gaming PC.
Graphic Card: The MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 2X OC 12GB is one of the better variants of RTX 4070 out there right now. When it comes to gaming performance, this card is fabulous for playing games in 1440p. Not to mention, you can even run games in 4K, as long as you are flexible with the graphic settings.
Storage: For storage, we recommend the Crucial P3 1TB NVMe SSD, it’s significantly faster than traditional HDDs, and even the basic SATA SSDs, making the game load speeds minimal. And, 1TB of storage should be enough for most.
Cooler: The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is a very powerful processor, and thus also gets heated up when under load. To ensure the temperatures are in check, we are using the Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Atmos ARGB. This will keep the CPU cool, while also making your PC build look a lot better.
Power Supply Unit: The Cooler Master MWE V2 750W is our power supply unit of choice for this PC build. With these specifications, a reliable and good-quality 750W will be sufficient. The MWE 750 V2 ensures that there is stable and smooth power delivery to all the components and that no issues regarding power delivery arise.
Cabinet: The Gamdias Athena P1 is an amazing cabinet both in terms of performance and aesthetics. It has superb airflow thanks to its perforated panels. The ARGB underglow, coupled with tempered glass panels, and stylish design make it look great.
The combination of Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 5200MHz DDR5 RAM, and the MSI RTX 4070 Ventus 2X OC makes this a beast in gaming. When it comes to overall gaming performance, this PC is quite similar to the previous PC build.
So, be it the CPU-intensive eSports titles like CS2, Valorant, DOTA 2, etc. Or, the graphic-intensive games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Alan Awake 2, etc. As long as you are playing these games in resolutions like 1080p and 1440p, you can be assured that you will get buttery smooth frame rates, regardless of the settings.
You will get a good gaming experience in 4K resolution as well, but in that case, you might have to turn down the visual settings down a few notches to get the buttery smooth experience in certain games.
The chart below will give you a fair idea of the FPS that you will get when playing the mentioned games with a PC configuration like this.
