1,50,000 INR for a gaming PC is a big chunk of money. And, when it comes to building a gaming PC in that budget, you can get a PC that will run AAA games at 2K resolution smoothly, and get hundreds of FPS in modern eSports titles. In this write-up, we will talk about two gaming PC configurations under 150,000 INR that you can build in 2024 for an amazing gaming experience.

We added two PC configurations, one is based on an Intel processor, and the other one is based on an AMD one. This will ensure that regardless of your preference, you can select one PC out of the two as your ideal gaming PC.

Without any further ado, let’s get started with the two best gaming PCs that we recommend with a budget of 1.5 lakh in India for 2024.

Why Did We Choose These Specifications?

Since we are building a gaming PC on a 1.5 lakh budget, we ensured that we use high-end gaming components. Here’s a brief summary of all the individual components:

Processor: For the processor, we are going with the Intel Core i5 14600KF, one of the latest and greatest mid-range processors from Intel that’s just perfect for gaming. It has 14 cores (6 P-cores and 8 E-cores), 20 threads, and a boost clock of 5.3GHz making it amazing for gaming.

RAM: The Corsair Vengeance 32GB (16x2) 5200MHz DDR5 RAM kit is perfect for a gaming PC of this caliber. 32GB is more than enough for modern AAA titles, and it’s also based on the fast and speedy DDR5 architecture.

Motherboard: MSI Pro B760M-A WIFI DDR5 is the motherboard we are using in this build. This one is a great mid-range option that works perfectly with the processor and has all the necessary features and specifications.

Graphics Card: The MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 2X OC 12GB graphic card is one of the best twin-fan variants of RTX 4070 out there right now. This is a semi-high-end graphic card for gaming and is capable of running modern AAA titles at 2K resolution in high settings, and running certain such titles at 4K as well.

CPU Cooler: The Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360L Core ARGB liquid cooler ensures that our Intel Core i5 14600KF does not get too heated even during intense gaming sessions and also ensures stability.

Storage: For storage, we are going with a single Crucial P3 1TB M.2 NVMe Internal SSD. Being an NVMe SSD, it’s faster than traditional SATA SSDs, and significantly faster than a standard HDD.

Power Supply Unit: For the PSU, we are going with the Cooler Master MWE 750 V2 80+ Bronze-certified SMPS. This PSU has nothing too fancy going on for it but is very much capable of maintaining a smooth and stable power flow to our PC build.

Case: The MSI MAG Forge 112R is the cabinet for this build, and the main reasons for choosing this are tempered glass panels, pre-installed ARGB fans, stylish design, and it’s an overall great cabinet in general.

What Kind of Gaming Performance and FPS Can I Expect From This PC Build?

Now, when it comes to gaming performance with this configuration, it will be superb and smooth. The combination of Core i5 14600KF, along with RTX 4070, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM makes it a beast in terms of gaming.

In eSports titles, you can easily get hundreds of FPS when playing at the highest settings. And, as for graphic-intensive AAA titles, you will easily get 60+ FPS consistently not only in 1080p, and 1440p, but, for some games, even in 4K (2160p) resolution.

Why Did We Choose These Specifications?

Now, this is pretty similar as the previous build, except this is based on an AMD processor, and this PC is for those who are fans of the Red team. Here’s a brief overview on each of the components.

Processor: The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X is the processor we are using here. This is an octa-core processor with 16 threads and has a boost clock of 5.4GHz. It’s quite similar to the Intel processor above when it comes to gaming performance, and thus it’s a great pick for an AMD-based gaming PC in this budget.

RAM: The Corsair Vengeance 32GB (16x2) 5200MHz DDR5 RAM kit is perfect for a gaming PC of this caliber. 32GB is more than enough for modern AAA titles, and it’s also based on the fast and speedy DDR5 architecture.

Motherboard: The MSI PRO B650M-A WiFi DDR5 motherboard works perfectly with the Ryzen 7 7700X, and also allows users to overclock for even better performance. Apart from that, you get all the necessary features and specifications that you would expect from a motherboard.

Graphics Card: MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 2X OC 12GB is again being used here. And, as we mentioned before, this card is capable of playing both graphic-intensive AAA games smoothly in not only 2K resolution but even in 4K for certain games. Overall, this is an amazing graphic card for a gaming PC in this price range.

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360L Core ARGB is a superb pick when it comes to getting a powerful and efficient AIO liquid cooler. This one is more than capable of cooling the Ryzen 7 7700X, even when overclocked.

Storage: The Crucial P3 1TB M.2 NVMe Internal SSD ensures that our storage is fast and snappy while also having plenty of space to have multiple AAA games, and a number of eSports games as well.

Power Supply Unit: Cooler Master MWE 750 V2 is the PSU we are using in this build. 750W is more than enough for this PC configuration, and this PSU in particular, is a solid no-nonsense choice.

Case: The MSI MAG Forge 112R is again being used in this build, and the reasons are similar once again. Stylish design, tempered glass panels, pre-installed ARGB fans, etc. make it a great pick.

What Kind of Gaming Performance and FPS Can I Expect From This PC Build?

In terms of gaming performance, this PC will be quite similar to the previous one. So, just like that PC, with this PC you will also be able to play the latest and greatest graphic-intensive games at 1440p or 2K resolution. And, in the case of certain games, even 4K resolution won’t be an issue.

As for the eSports titles and competitive games, you will easily get multiple hundreds of FPS, regardless of the visual settings. Normally, the gaming performance with both of these PC builds is similar, but it’s better in the i5 14600KF build for certain games.

The chart below will give you a fair idea of the type of gaming performance you can get out of a PC like this in popular games.
