40000 INR is a good price point when it comes to affordable gaming PCs right now in 2024. The reason is that, with this budget, you can even manage to squeeze in a dedicated graphics card, while ensuring that the rest of the components are also decently powerful.
In this article, we will go over two gaming PC configurations that we believe are the best for gaming under 40000 INR for 2024. One of these will feature integrated graphics (iGPU), and the other one will feature a dedicated graphics card. Apart from just the specifications, we will also talk about the reason for choosing the parts, and the FPS that you can expect in popular games with these PC builds:
Without any further ado, let’s get started with the best PC builds under 40000 INR:
Table of content
Processor |
Intel Core i3 12100F Processor |

Western Digital Green 480GB SATA SSD |
SMPS |
Deepcool PF450 Standard Non Modular Power Supply (450 W) |

Ant Esports ICE-120AG RGB Mid Tower Cabinet |
Processor: Core i3 12100F is the perfect entry-level processor in such builds, it comes with 4 cores, 8 threads, and a high boost clock of 4.3GHz, and is also quite efficient while having good gaming performance.
Motherboard: The motherboard that we are using is the MSI Pro H610M-E. Since, we won’t be doing any overclocking, and we want it to be affordable, the H610 motherboards make perfect sense here, and the MSI Pro H610M-E is a solid pick in this regard.
Graphic Card: The graphics card that we are using is the Gigabyte GTX 1650 D6 Windforce OC 4GB, and the GTX 1650 is the only possible graphics card that you can use in a gaming PC under 40,000 INR. This is plenty powerful and is more than enough to run modern games at 1080p, as long as it's not too demanding.
RAM: We are using 16 gigabytes of DDR4 memory in this PC build, and we are using the Adata XPG Gammix D30 DDR4 16GB (8x2) 3200MHz RAM kit for that. 16GB of RAM is sufficient for not only entry-level gamers but even for intermediate ones.
Storage: For storage, we are opting for a single Western Digital Green 480GB SATA SSD, as the storage space is ample for most entry-level gamers, and SSDs, in general, are much faster than HDDs.
PSU: The PSU we are using here is the Deepcool PF450, it's a standard 450 watt SMPS that is sufficient for this build, as we have nothing too high-end in terms of components here.
Cabinet: The cabinet is the Ant Esports ICE-120AG RGB. This is a decent-looking cabinet with a stylish RGB element integrated into the front panel. And, supports 240mm radiators, and up to seven 120mm fans as well.
The first PC that we are going to talk about features the Intel Core i3 12100F, along with a GTX 1650 4GB DDR6, and 16GB of DDR4 memory. Overall, for those who want to play AAA games, and those games that are graphic-intensive, but are restricted by the budget of 40,000 INR, this is a great build to consider.
In the chart below, you can see the games we tested and the settings on which they were tested. We have added the average FPS and the 1% low FPS while playing them at 1080p, which will help you understand what type of gaming performance you can expect.
Processor |
AMD Ryzen 7 5700G Processor |
Motherboard |
MSI B450M-A PRO MAX Motherboard |
RAM |
Adata XPG Gammix D30 DDR4 16GB (8GB x 2) 3200MHz |
Graphics Card |
Integrated GPU |
CPU Cooler |
Stock Cooler |
SSD |
Western Digital Green 480GB SATA SSD |

Deepcool PF450 Standard Non Modular Power Supply (450 W) |

Ant Esports ICE-120AG RGB Mid Tower Cabinet |
Processor: The AMD Ryzen 7 5700G is a solid APU, as it has amazing processing prowess thanks to its 8 cores and 16 threads configuration. Apart from that, it has a boost clock of 4.4GHz. And, as for the integrated GPU, it features the AMD Radeon Vega 8.
Graphic Card: This one does not come with a dedicated graphic card, and uses the AMD Radeon Vega 8 integrated GPU. For playing, eSports titles and some less graphic-intensive games, this is sufficient.
RAM: We are going with Adata XPG Gammix D30 DDR4 16GB (8x2) 3200MHz RAM kit for this build, as it’s more than enough for such an entry-level gaming PC.
Storage: We are only using a single Western Digital Green 480GB SATA SSD in this build, as this is enough for most entry-level gamers, and SSDs in general are much faster and better than HDDs.
PSU: The Deepcool PF450 is again being used here. This affordable 450W PSU is perfect for such APU-based gaming PC builds.
Cabinet: Ant Esports ICE-120AG RGB is again being used in this build. It has LED lighting elements, unique design, decent airflow, and support for 240mm radiator and up to seven fans as well.
The second and last build features the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G which acts as both the processor and the graphic processing unit. This APU enables you to get an overall better processor with more cores, threads, and processing speeds, but you lose out on a dedicated graphic card.
With these specifications, you will have a better time when you are playing processor-intensive competitive eSports games as compared to the previous PC build. But, the performance in graphic-intensive games won’t be as good as the previous configuration, since the 1650 is much better than the iGPU of the 5700G.
