Overview - DaVinci Resolve Video Editing PC Under 1.2 Lakhs INR

Processor: For the processor, we are going with one of the best mid-range processors in the market, the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X. This is Zen 4’s best Ryzen 5 processor and as for specifications, it comes with 6 cores, 12 threads, and a 5.3GHz boost clock.

Motherboard: The motherboard that we have selected for this build is the MSI Pro B650M-P DDR5. This motherboard, being a B-series board, can overclock the 7600X for even better performance. Apart from that, it comes with special features like Core Boost digital power design and Memory Boost for better and more stable performance, reinforced PCIe slot, PCIe Gen 4, USB 3.2 Gen2, DDR5 memory support with speeds up to 7200MHz, and a lot more.

RAM: Memory or RAM is super important for any video editing PC build. We are going with the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (16GB x 2) 5200MHz RAM kit to ensure that there are no hurdles in performance due to the memory/RAM.

Graphics Card: The graphic card that you use plays a massive role in DaVinci Resolve. As per our budget, the most powerful and the best graphic card that we can manage to use is the RTX 4070. And, we are going with the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 WindForce OC 12GB graphic card specifically.

CPU Cooler: The Ryzen 5 7600X is quite a powerful processor, and thus, gets pretty hot when under heavy load. To ensure that it does not overheat and cause any issues, we have the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3. This air cooler is more than capable of cooling off the 7600X and also has a unique design and ARGB lighting which makes the entire PC setup look better.

Storage: For the storage device of a video editing PC, we need something that’s decently large in capacity, and also pretty fast. The Western Digital Blue SN580 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD is pretty much both, and hence the reason that we are using it.

SMPS: For the power supply, we want something reliable, efficient, and with ample wattage for such a powerful PC configuration. The Cooler Master MWE 750 V2 ticks all the boxes in this regard. It has 80+ Bronze certification which ensures amazing efficiency, and premium and reliable internal components, and it also has the trust and reliability of CoolerMaster

Case: Lastly, when it comes to the cabinet, we are using the Cooler Master CMP 520 ARGB. This is a stylish-looking cabinet with some sharp design elements that make it quite the looker. Apart from that, it has a front mesh panel that helps in airflow, and you get three pre-installed ARGB fans as well. As for space, you can install up to six 120mm fans, a 280mm radiator, and a 365mm long graphic card.

Conclusion - DaVinci Resolve Video Editing PC Below Rs. 1,20,000 INR

DaVinci Resolve is one of those applications that require you to have a powerful and capable PC configuration if you want to do some serious video editing work with lots of unique effects, color grading, etc. So, you need a powerful combination of CPU, graphics card, and memory.

More emphasis is placed on the graphic card, as DaVinci Resolve utilizes the graphic card more than the CPU. For that reason, we went with the RTX 4070. We believe that this combination of Ryzen 5 7600X, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 WindForce OC 12GB, and Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (16GB x 2) 5200MHz RAM is an amazing computer configuration for video editing in DaVinci Resolve, especially when the budget is 1.2 Lakhs or 1,20,000 INR.
