Processor: The AMD Ryzen 5600G is an APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) that features 6 cores, and 12 threads, and has a boost clock of 4.4GHz. In this price range, it’s certainly one of the better processors out there.
Motherboard: In such budget-oriented gaming PC builds, we need a motherboard that has all the necessary features and is of overall good quality and reliable. The Gigabyte A520M K V2 motherboard fulfills all of these criteria.
RAM: 16GB of RAM is perfect for such entry-level gaming builds, and we went ahead with the ADATA XPG Gammix D30 16GB (8GB x 2) DDR4 3200MHz RAM kit for this.
Graphic Card / GPU : Another important reason for using the Ryzen 5 5600G is its powerful integrated GPU, the AMD Vega 7. This integrated GPU is perfect for entry-level gaming, and will easily let you play games in 1080p, and when it comes to graphic-intensive games, you can play those at lower resolutions easily.
CPU Cooler: For the CPU cooler, we are using the stock cooler, the Wraith Stealth cooler. The Ryzen 5 5600G is a very efficient processor and does not heat too much, so the stock cooler will be fine.
Storage: For SSD, we have a 480GB Western Digital Green SATA SSD. This would ensure that game load speeds are never an issue.
SMPS: For the power supply unit, we chose the DeepCool PF450. It’s a standard 450W PSU and comes with reliable internal components and DeepCool’s trust. Overall, a great pick for this PC build.
Case: Ant Esports ICE-120AG RGB is an amazing option when it comes to affordable PC cabinets. It looks stylish, has decent build quality, and also supports up to 240mm radiators and up to eight 120mm fans.
Now, as said before, this is a very basic and entry-level gaming PC that’s capable of running games on PC in a full HD resolution. So you might have to switch to 900p or 720p for certain high-end games.
And, even when playing in 1080p, you will have to stick to low settings. But, then again, in this price range, this is as good as a gaming PC gets right now. So, in this budget, this is pretty much the best that you can get.
You can refer to the chart below to get an idea of the type of performance that you will get when playing popular games with a similar configuration. This chart includes the average and the 1% Low FPS when playing popular games in 1080p.
