Processor: We are going ahead with the Intel Core i5 14600K processor for this PC configuration. The processor is the most important component in a photo editing configuration. And, that’s why we are going with this 14th Generation Core i5 processor. Not to mention, this is also the best i5 processor that has been released so far. As for specifications, this processor features 14 cores (8 P-Cores and 6 E-Cores), 20 threads, and a boost clock of 5.3GHz.
Motherboard: Since we have a decent upper-mid range PC configuration, we need a B-series motherboard instead of the entry-level H-series boards. We are going with the MSI Pro B760M-A WIFI DDR5 motherboard for that reason. Talking of specifications and features, this board comes with DDR5 memory support with speeds up to 6800MHz, PCIe Gen4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, fast wireless connectivity, and a lot more.
RAM: Now, since this is a photo editing PC configuration, we definitely want a good amount of memory/RAM. We are going with a 32GB DDR5 memory configuration with the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (16GB x 2) 5200MHz kit. 32GB of fast DDR5 memory is going to be more than enough for a photo editing PC build of this range.
Graphics Card: In photo editing applications, the graphic card is only useful when it comes to GPU-based acceleration or other specific features that require raw graphic processing power. So, it’s not necessary to spend a whole lot on the graphic card, at least when it comes to photo editing. For that reason, we are going with the Zotac Gaming RTX 3050 Eco 8GB. This is simply perfect for a photo editing PC build within a 1 Lakh INR budget.
CPU Cooler: The Cooler Master Hyper 620S ARGB is the CPU cooler for our PC configuration. This is a capable, powerful, beefy dual-tower CPU cooler that’s more than capable of cooling powerful processors. The Intel Core i5 14600KF is undoubtedly one of the most powerful mid-range processors out there, and it does heat a lot when under heavy load. This CPU cooler ensures that the processor never overheats, even during heavy load scenarios.
Storage: Western Digital Blue SN580 500GB M.2 NVMe Gen4 SSD is the storage device for our PC configuration. We need an SSD as this ensures we get an overall smooth and snappy experience. Furthermore, 512GB of storage is going to be enough for most.
SMPS: For the power supply, we are going with the MSI MAG A650BN. Any good and quality 650-watt PSU from a reputed brand will be sufficient for this build. Not to mention, the A650BN also features 80+ Bronze certification making it even better.
Case: MSI MAG Forge 112R ARGB is the cabinet that we are using in our photo editing PC build today. This cabinet features a mesh front panel, four pre-installed 120mm ARGB fans, and dust filters for the top and bottom panels. Apart from that, this cabinet has ample space to install up to six 120mm fans, a 240mm radiator, and even a 330mm long graphic card.
With a 1 Lakh INR budget you definitely want an upper-mid-range photo editing PC configuration that’s capable of doing almost anything that you need in regards to photo editing. Now for that, you need a really capable processor and an ample amount of memory/RAM. But, depending on your requirements and usage, having a decent graphic card will also go a long way.
For that reason, we finalized on this combination of the Intel Core i5 14600K, 32GB of DDR5 5200MHz memory, and the Zotac Gaming RTX 3050 Eco 8GB graphics card. With this configuration, you will be able to do almost everything smoothly that you expect from a photo editing PC build of this range.
We firmly believe that this configuration is one of the best PC builds under 1 Lakh INR for photo editing right now. So, if you are interested in something along those lines, then this is definitely worth checking.
